Founding and Managing Editor
Kate Garrett is the founding/managing editor of Three Drops from a Cauldron and Picaroon Poetry, as well as Bonnie’s Crew. Her own writing is widely published online and in print, in such places as Ghost City Review, Rust + Moth, Sad Girl Review, Prole, Moonchild Magazine, Gyroscope Review, and many others. She has been nominated for Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize, her pamphlet The Density of Salt (Indigo Dreams Publishing, 2016) was longlisted for a Saboteur Award, and her pamphlet You’ve never seen a doomsday like it (Indigo Dreams, 2017) was a Poetry Book Society winter 2017 selection and Poetry Kit book of the month for January 2018. Her latest chapbooks are Losing interest in the sound of petrichor (The Black Light Engine Room, 2018) and Land and Sea and Turning (CWP Collective Press, 2018). Her first full-length poetry collection, The saint of milk and flames, is forthcoming from Rhythm & Bones Press in April 2019, and her mini chapbook To feed my woodland bones [a changeling’s tale] is forthcoming from Animal Heart Press in September 2019.
Born and raised in rural southern Ohio, Kate moved to the UK in 1999 and has been here ever since. She lives in Sheffield with her husband, five children, and a sleepy cat.
