Two poems by Colin W. Campbell

Morning Mist

Morning mist rises
wisps of another new dawn.
Green leaves now breathing
healing earth wakens from sleep
warm in the light of the sun.

Moonlight on the Sea

When did you shine here the first time?
Old as a pebble worn round by the tide.
A lost reflection in gentle ocean waters.
Will your touch awake forgotten dreams?

‘Morning Mist’ was first published in Poetry Quarterly (2013).

Colin W. Campbell escaped from the day job back in the UK and now writes very short fiction and poetry in Sarawak on the lovely green island of Borneo and faraway in Yunnan in southwest China.

Our JustGiving page is open for donations to the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund – no amount is too small if you feel moved to support.
